ST. MARIES SADDLE CLUB HORSE SHOW AND O-MOK-SEE

GENERAL RULES

1.      PLEASE  CONDUCT ALL BUSINESS AT THE ENTRY-AWARD BOOTH.

2.      All contestants must be ready to compete when called.  Gate will be closed after THREE CALLS.

3.      Horse and rider may compete only once in each age group.

4.      All contestants must be able to control their mount without assistance, with the exception of 8 & under class may be helped.

5.      Clearly display correct horse show number on back or where acceptable to judge.

6.      Contestant age determined as of 01/01/09.  Horse, 01/01/year foaled.

7.      O-Mok-See rules where applicable (speed events only) otherwise ground rules shall prevail.

8.      Horse Show classes conform to FEI, otherwise ground rules shall prevail.

9.      Judges decision final in all classes and events.  Protests must be made in writing and must be received by show management within 30 minutes after class, accompanied by $25.00 fee.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

10.  Riding Boots are required attire for all contestants.

11.  Abusive action to a horse is reason for disqualification.

12.  Anyone under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to ride.  Alcoholic beverages are prohibited by Benewah County Fair Association in bleachers, arena, and on deck area.  They are confined to camping area only.

13.  Grand Entry after lunch break on Sunday.  One rider per horse.  Flag Bearers, officers and current Royalty please.

14.  O-Mok-See contestants must hold current year membership in a Saddle Club.  If not, you may join St. Maries Saddle Club for $5.00 per person or $10.00 for a family membership (include with entry fee).

15.  Neither St. Maries Saddle Club nor Benewah County Fair Association is responsible for any accident or injury to contestants, mounts or operators.

16.  Refunds by Veterinarian or Doctor Certificate only.

17.  P.A.C. participants must turn their forms in with entry.  Must be legible.

18.  Stallion handlers must be 18 years of age or older.
